Inside the home, the living space is bright and well-appointed. While the sleeping quarters are on the small side, you’ll find plenty of wardrobe space in the main bedroom. When you’re ready to explore, the heart of the Gothic Quarter is a twenty-minute walk away, and it takes sixteen minutes via the metro to reach Barceloneta Beach.

You’ll find this attractive penthouse apartment in the heart of Barcelona. It’s a short walk from Cala Mila and there’s no shortage of bars and restaurants nearby. Fontana metro station is close too, so you can easily get around the city. The apartment itself is modern and sleek, a stylish base for four. Best of all, it has a beautiful terrace equipped with sun loungers and a dining table. Admire Tibidabo Mountain views while sipping sunset cocktails – what more could you ask for? 

Dream of Sunshine

You'll have the narrow medieval streets of the Gothic Quarter on your doorstep, as well as Barcelona Cathedral, when you stay at this apartment. There's an array of fashionable bars and Catalan restaurants to enjoy, too. For a spot of culture, head to the Museu d'Història de Barcelona or the UNESCO World Heritage sites of Casa Batlló and Casa Milà, all within walking distance. As you'd expect, such a fantastic location comes with some street noise, which you may hear throughout your stay if you're a light sleeper. The open-plan living room is spacious, but there's not much food preparation space in the kitchenette, but will you be eating in that much?

Gothic Gem

With Passeig de Gràcia on your doorstep, there’s no end to the shopping and sightseeing in store from this wonderfully central apartment. Of course, its prime locale means you’ll need to contend with some street noise. But pack a pair of earplugs and you’ll be all set for a stay in the heart of the city. There’s a desk space on hand in the living area for those looking to work remotely, and Juliet balconies here and in the bedroom offer prime spots to perch with an evening glass of wine. Alternatively, you can always head up to the communal rooftop terrace with its ample outdoor seating and shared soaking pool and admire the city views. 


Mountain Pearl

Just off Barcelona’s famous Passeig de Gràcia – known for its designer shops and beautiful architecture – this bright apartment is a great option for those visiting the city. We love the open living space, equipped with a sofa bed for a seventh guest (though at the expense of the communal seating). The kitchen and large dining table allow for home cooking when you're not out sampling the local eateries. Meanwhile, the balcony serves as a lovely spot for enjoying the warm Catalan weather and sipping sundowners. It's also worth noting that some street noise should be expected, due to the central location. 

The Latin Instinct

On the fourth floor of a 150-year-old building in Barcelona’s historic heart, this loft-style studio is perfect for a couple or solo traveller. It’s an eleven-minute walk to Plaça Catalunya and just fifteen minutes on the metro sees you to the awe-inspiring Sagrada Familia. There’s no lift in the building, so you’ll need to be comfortable climbing a lot of stairs to the entrance. Once inside, it’s a stylish spot with a compact kitchen, living area and double French windows that open to a Juliet-style balcony overlooking the street below. There's even a pull-out single bed that sleeps an additional guest, which we think is best for a child.

The Ode to the City

Natural shades and cool, geometric woodwork create eye-catching statements in this carefully designed home. Located in Barcelona’s Eixample Dreta neighbourhood – known for its Gaudí-designed buildings and famous Passeig de Gràcia – you’ve got plenty of cultural hotspots within easy reach. 

We love the subtle desert-inspired decor here that lends a sense of warmth to the open-plan living area, as well as the blend of textures and patterns in the furnishings that add a laidback boho vibe. Make yourself comfortable on the plump sofa with a glass of Cava while a record serenades your evening, then gather around the dining table for an at-home tapas feast when you’re not out sampling the local restaurants. 

Those looking to work from home will be glad to find a dedicated desk area as well as high-speed wi-fi, while guests looking to relax to the max will delight in the comfortable, stylish bedrooms. Factor in the sleek bathrooms with their luxurious rainfall showers and you’ve got everything you need for a carefree city stay. 


Geometría

Ideally situated a short walk from Nova Mar Bella Beach, this apartment is a comfortable base to return to after exploring Barcelona’s coastline. If you need to head into the city proper, Selva de Mar metro station is only five minutes away. When the sofa bed is in use, there’s limited social space in the living area. Fortunately, guests staying here have access to a furnished, communal roof terrace – perfect for relaxing with a tipple in the sunshine. 

Marítimo

One of many similar apartments, this pad puts you smack-dab in the centre of Barcelona. Stroll down Las Ramblas, 100 metres away, and admire the Guadí architecture while doing a bit of shopping. Venture five minutes further and you'll hit Plaça de Catalunya, one of the most popular spots in the city. Two guests will sleep on a sofa bed here, and when it's in use, the socialising space isn't the biggest. There's also likely to be street noise since you're so central. That aside, with a cosy bedroom and full kitchen, it's a comfortable, practical spot to call home.

Real Ramblas

Let's kick off with the location first with this home – it's fantastic. The apartment is within walking distance of Plaça de Catalunya and the Arc de Triomf, as well as all the restaurants and bars of Eixample. Culture lovers, on the other hand, can visit the nearby Picasso Museum and the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art. The apartment itself has a Juliet-style balcony with views over the La Rambla de Catalunya. We should point out that if you're a group of four, two guests will be sleeping on the sofa bed in the already compact living room. But that's probably a small price to pay for such a great address.

A Look at Barcelona

With authentic Spanish interiors and a prime location in Barcelona's Gothic Quarter, this apartment is ideal for those looking to be within walking distance of the city's most celebrated sights. You're a short stroll from Barcelona Cathedral, Plaza Catalunya and the Parc de la Ciutadella with plenty of excellent shopping and dining options right on your doorstep. Inside, traditional Catalan touches combine with a contemporary design to add real warmth to the pad – that said, the bedrooms do vary in size and there's limited storage space.

Stay just a street away from the bustling Las Ramblas, the heart of Barcelona. You're steps away from all of its restaurants, bars, cafes, shops, and more. Not only is the location fantastic, but you're also doing it in style, in this chic, contemporary apartment. 

You'll love mornings in this apartment. Nothing beats stepping out onto your balcony and soaking up the warm morning sun on your face while sipping on a fresh coffee, before getting ready to take on the city. Staying so close to Las Ramblas, you can get to wherever you want to go with ease. You're just a short walk away from Barceloneta Beach – it's beautiful whatever the weather, with a promenade lined with cafes, sangria bars, and tapas spots that can provide you comfort if it's a bit too cold for the beach. Or, explore the Gothic Quarter and its museums, trinket shops, and cathedrals, marvelling at the mesmerising architecture. 

Warm and inviting, this is the kind of apartment you'll be glad to come home to after a long day of walking around Barcelona. We love the dark-toned wood, it's a beautiful touch that makes this home feel so stylish and luxurious. In the living room, the plush sofa makes for the ideal spot for putting your feet up for some relaxation before getting ready for dinner around your dining table. Your kitchen is well-equipped for whipping up dinner if you fancy your hand at trying local dishes, or you can head out for the real thing.
